Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our finance team. This person must thrive in an environment where change is constant and have the ability to work exceptionally well in a team. The position requires a strong drive to maintain and improve finance‑related processes at a detailed micro level and also support the Head of Finance at a macro level and be willing to assist and engage in finance‑related international expansion activities. Depending on company growth and the candidate's performance, there is a future possibility of being promoted to financial manager. Strong ethical behaviour is non‑negotiable. Responsibilities Oversee smooth month‑end procedures Drive cost management initiatives, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiencies Collaborate with the Accountant to improve daily financial processes Analyze financial data, prepare ad‑hoc reports, and present findings to senior management to support decision‑making Oversee the year‑end financial audit, including but not limited to preparing an audit file and handling audit queries effectively and professionally Collaborate with the sales team and take responsibility for the full debtors function, including following up on outstanding debtors Account for ad‑hoc and non‑routine transactions in line with IFRS for SMEs Assist the Head of Finance in preparing monthly management accounts and provisional tax calculations Review payment batches, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payments in multiple currencies Assist the Head of Finance with company secretarial matters as well as general compliance with applicable laws and regulations when required Qualifications 2–3 years’ post‑article experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting B Hons (non‑negotiable) CA(SA), non‑negotiable Why join CubeSpace?
