Business Systems Analyst

About The Role We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role involves analysing, designing, and implementing systems to optimise business processes and support organisational goals. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, configure ERP solutions, and ensure seamless system integration. Qualifications And Experience Minimum 5 years; Preferably 7 years experience in delivering software project and products. Undergraduate degree in Information Technology (Honours in IT with a Business Informatics background preferred). Key Technical Skills Advanced knowledge of IM Systems and problem resolution Ability to analyze business requirements and provide innovative solutions Strong experience in ERP configuration and integration Proficiency in project management principles Experience with industry frameworks like ITIL, COBIT, and security standards Ability to manage vendors and ensure high service availability Key Responsibilities Information Systems Management – Deliver expertise in IS / IM tools (e.g., SAP, Jira, SharePoint), ensure system security and availability, and stay updated on emerging technologies. User Interface & Relationship Management – Provide technical support, troubleshoot system issues, and maintain stakeholder trust. IM Performance – Maintain system availability at 99.5% or higher, execute change control processes, and manage disaster recovery plans. Innovation & Continuous Improvement – Implement proof-of-concept solutions and refine IS systems for optimal efficiency. Project Management – Lead IS projects, manage risks, and ensure documentation aligns with project deliverables. Best Practices Implementation – Apply industry standards (ITIL, COBIT, Cyber Security) to enhance system quality. Technical Responsibilities – Conduct performance monitoring, database maintenance, and optimisation exercises.
