Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Elite Brokerage Assistant with RE5 and FAIS accreditation to join our prestigious team in the long-term insurance sector. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support to our brokers and assist in managing client portfolios, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and delivering superior service to our clients.

THE FOLLOWING IS A MUST:

* Previous broker assistance experience
* Dealing with Discovery Life and Investments

Responsibilities:

Assist brokers in managing client portfolios and providing expert advice on long-term insurance products.
Conduct thorough needs analysis and risk assessments for clients to determine the most suitable insurance solutions.
Prepare accurate and comprehensive insurance proposals and presentations for clients, ensuring compliance with FAIS regulations.
Facilitate the application process for insurance policies, including gathering necessary documentation and liaising with insurance providers.
Handle client inquiries and requests promptly and professionally, providing timely and accurate information and assistance.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and product offerings to effectively advise clients and support brokers.
Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and marketing materials for client meetings and presentations.
Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and claims specialists, to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
Provide administrative support to brokers, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and maintaining client records.
Uphold high ethical standards and compliance with all relevant industry regulations, including RE5 and FAIS requirements.

Qualifications:

RE5 accreditation is required.
FAIS accreditation is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in the long-term insurance industry, with a strong understanding of insurance products and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance-related software applications Xplan.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
