WORKPLACE-BASED LEARNING (WPBL) CLERK | Strand Campus Requirements Senior Certificate or equivalent NQF Level 4 Certificate Knowledge and understanding of the TVET sector Good administrative and organizational skills Good verbal and written communication skills in English Computer Literacy MS Office Valid driver’s license Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties: To effectively place academically successful exit level students in workplace-based learning/ student internship opportunities To monitor students in the workplace and report on progress of placement To effectively conduct work readiness workshops across Boland TVET College campuses, to adequately prepare students for the demands of the world of work Understanding the implementation of Occupational certificates Ensure that students aware of work placement opportunities and registered on various accessible employment portals Assist in the coordination of Entrepreneurship activities Maintain and update the job placement database with student information Sourcing of relevant industry partners for placement Capturing of project stipends on Information Management system Recommendations Relevant post matric qualification Knowledge of Occupational Qualifications Knowledge and understanding of Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETA’s) TVET sector experience Please Note: No manual applications will be accepted.
