A well-established financial services concern with offices in Somerset West is seeking to employ an International Business Consultant Reference: SW -AM-1 The consultant will be responsible for increasing sales across the company's product range, including various joint venture and co-branded initiatives. This will primarily involve establishing relationships with financial advisers, accountants, and other professionals who may need the products, as well as building and developing relationships with existing firms with whom the company has terms of business.The post holder reports to the Director. Duties & Responsibilities Key duties and responsibilities: Utilize financial services industry experience and skills to create and manage costs, contributing to the overall betterment of the firm. The role suits a highly organized self-starter who can work remotely and is confident enough to be judged by results. The role involves extensive travel both in South Africa and abroad. In addition to working normal business hours, you will also be expected to make yourself available outside normal South African business hours as required. You will need to be technically proficient in the benefits, application, and tax issues around the use of company products in the various jurisdictions they operate in. Market the services and products from the company and associated companies/JVs. Represent the Company and its brands in a professional and diligent manner. Create a business development plan and implement the strategy. Ensure that product sales meet all regulatory requirements. Work and build relationships with Life companies and International Investment houses. Develop new products. Attend and present at seminars and/or presentations. Gather market intelligence and understand competitor products. Obtain awareness of and understand new markets in South Africa and greater Africa. Liaise with tax/legal advisers. #J-18808-Ljbffr
