Job Description To assist with Ongoing Credit Management and Ongoing Risk Management, or Collection support and administration to control exposure. Welcome to FNB – the home of the #Changeables. We’re currently seeking a Portfolio Analyst with hands-on experience in Hogan and Plexus Collections , as well as account recovery . The ideal candidate will be skilled in engaging with customers to encourage payment, identifying early signs of risk, and initiating proactive conversations around defaulting accounts. Responsibilities include negotiating payment arrangements, assessing and adjusting accounts, and supporting ongoing credit and risk management processes. This role also involves providing administrative support for collections to help manage and control credit exposure. What You’ll Be Responsible For Managing costs and expenses within approved budgets to ensure cost efficiency Delivering exceptional service that exceeds customer expectations through proactive, innovative solutions Building and maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders including end-users, SMEs, project managers, and senior leadership Staying up to date with legislative changes and industry best practices, and providing proactive advice and solutions Ensuring compliance with governance, legislative, and audit requirements Actioning accounts allocated via Plexus on a daily basis Monitoring and managing dormant accounts to improve client retention and reduce costs Overseeing account categorisation within your portfolio Driving efficiencies in the collections process to improve recovery rates Gathering and distributing relevant business intelligence Managing your own development to continuously grow your skills and competencies What You’ll Need Qualification: NQF Level 6 or equivalent Experience: 2–3 years in collections and recovery Proficiency in Hogan and Plexus systems Strong background in account risk management and payment arrangements What You’ll Gain Access To Opportunities to collaborate across segments and teams A challenging and rewarding work environment A platform to innovate and contribute to team, leadership, and business success We’re a Match If You Are Curious & courageous – always eager to learn and brave enough to challenge the norm Obsessed with mastery – committed to excellence and continuous improvement Open to ongoing personal growth and development Ready to take the next step in your career?
