**Portfolio Analysts responsibilities**:

- Monitoring the performance of investments to ensure they are meeting their stated objectives.
- Analyzing financial statements to measure the impact of market fluctuations on a firms financial position.
- Determining the rate of return on an investment or determining the amount of cash inflow or outflow over time.
- Developing new investment strategies based on current trends in the financial markets.
- Ongoing monitoring of client portfolios - preparing trade recommendations and re-balancing of portfolios when necessary.
- Providing research support for investment teams by tracking industry trends and statistics.
- Checking monthly and quarterly reports and liaise with reporting team on requirements.
- Coordinating with other departments within a company to gather information about new investments.
- Recommending changes to investment strategies based on an assessment of risk tolerance, time horizon, and other considerations.
- Researching potential investments and making recommendations to clients based on their risk tolerance, time horizon, and other considerations.
- Assisting with any ad hoc requests and general administration involved in maintaining client portfolios and files
**Portfolio Analysts Requirements**:

- Business, Economics or Investment related qualifications.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in the finance / investment industry.
- Must organized and professional.
- Experience in maintaining clients files and set-ups.
- Investment related postgraduate qualification (or studying towards) such as CFP or CFA advantageous.
