A youth marketing specialist agency is looking for an **Account Manager.**

The are looking for a dynamic, solutions-oriented and highly organised Account Manager to join their team.

**Key Requirements**:

- Post-graduate degree
- Minimum 3 years' experience in account management
- Experience working in an agency environment
- Experience working directly with clients
- Digital and activations experience is advantageous
- The ability to identify opportunities for clients and to upsell
- Experience managing multiple projects at the same times
- Ability to manage multiple campaign and media channels
- Experience drafting and managing a budget
- Self-starter who takes initiative and works well in a team
- Dependable and reliable
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer-focused
- Organised and attentive to detail
- Joburg-based

**Additional Context**:
The AM will be managing a number of accounts simultaneously. They will be responsible for developing strategies for retaining and growing their accounts, which includes identifying new opportunities within clients and being able to understand their needs. A key element of this role is the ability to build strong and sustainable relationships with clients.

The AM will need to manage the accounts end-to-end. This includes liaising and coordinating with the various stakeholders and ensuring that they deliver on their promise. All of this requires strong organisational skills and attention to detail so that the client has an exceptional experience in working with the agency.

This role will work independently and the AM will, therefore ,need to be a self-starter who can solve problems effectively as they arise. They will, however, need to balance this with joining in the teams when required and communicating effectively with the internal team and relevant stakeholders.

**The AM will be accountable for**:

- Client satisfaction and net promoter score
- Client retention
- Growth of client account
- Positively contributing to thier team and organisational culture
