Job Title Manager: Senior Developer Responsibilities As part of your portfolio, you will be responsible for: Building, enhancing, and maintaining product platforms, design and creation of products to meet customer needs and requirements against strategic business objectives. Providing deep technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to lead development projects. This includes mentoring junior developers, designing complex software architectures, and ensuring high-quality code delivery while collaborating with cross-functional teams, requiring proficiency in programming languages, agile methodologies, and a strong understanding of software development lifecycle. Furthermore, you will be responsible for : Technical Leadership: Leading development teams, providing technical guidance, and making key architectural decisions. Project Management: Overseeing project timelines, ensuring quality standards, and managing development deliverables. Software Design and Development: Designing, developing, and implementing complex software solutions. Code Review and Optimization: Reviewing code for quality and efficiency, identifying areas for improvement. Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identifying and resolving complex technical issues. Mentorship and Training: Coaching and mentoring junior developers. Collaboration: Working effectively with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders. Documentation: Creating technical documentation and specifications. Staying Updated: Keeping abreast of new technologies and industry trends. Qualifications 4-year Engineering / Business Science (or related) Degree. 5+ years of relevant work experience in product design and engineering, preferably in a Fintech or financial services environment. Programming frameworks : React, Node.js. Experience with backend programming languages and technologies (Java, Springboot, C#). CI / CD tools in a cloud environment, preferably Azure or AWS. Database systems (SQL, NoSQL). Version Control (Git or similar version control systems). Understanding of the Fintech ecosystem, players, business models and financial sector or banking industry related best practices. Experience at the management level in the financial sector. Experience in development, prototyping, and initial production of products within the financial sector or banking industry. Experience with DevOps and Agile practices. Experience in presenting and providing technical guidance at Technical Review Boards. Additional Edge Understanding of emerging markets. Worked across diverse cultures and geographies.
