Senior Developer – Product Innovation Employment Type: Full Time | Location: Johannesburg (Central, SA) The Developer is responsible for delivering specialist software solutions and support to the Company by developing and maintaining COBOL, .NET applications, APIs, and web applications in the organization along with other specialist team members. Key Responsibilities Interact and engage frequently with clients, business unit managers, project leaders, and functional heads to discuss specific business needs and requirements. Gauge the complexities of business processes and particular functional/business area issues, employing reasoning skills to provide customized solutions. Document development work, application deployment, and provide support to end-users when needed. Qualifications and Experience Senior Certificate with Core Maths or NQF 4 equivalent. Tertiary degree or recognized IT qualification at NQF level 7 or higher. 5 – 6 years of system development experience at a senior level. Proficient in ASP.NET MVC 4 Web, Windows Azure and Web Services, HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3, C#, COBOL, .NET Core 3.1+. Practical knowledge of development patterns (Repository, Unit of Work, SOLID) and advanced systems development. Strong business acumen, leadership and project management skills, problem solving, reporting, analytical, interpersonal, presentation, facilitation, and communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
