What We Are Looking For Valid South African ID or work permit At least 2 years recent experience in a hotel or upmarket restaurant Matric Grade 12 Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards Professional appearance, reliability and punctuality Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm, confident and organised during busy service A genuine passion for guest service and a guest first mindset Flexibility to work shifts, evenings, weekends and public holidays Team player with positive energy and a service driven attitude What You Will Do Welcome guests with warmth, confidence and professionalism Guide guests through menus, recommend specials and offer personalised service Deliver food and beverages with precision, ensuring every plate and pour is perfect Maintain a polished and inviting dining environment Anticipate guest needs and manage queries with care and confidence Create opportunities to delight through upselling and suggestive selling Support your team during peak periods to ensure smooth service flow Uphold strict hygiene, safety and service standards at all times On Offer Competitive market related salary Company contribution toward medical aid and pension fund Staff meals on duty Uniform provided Training and development opportunities within a growing hotel Discounts on dining, accommodation and selected hotel facilities A supportive and passionate team culture A chance to grow within one of Cape Towns most loved hotels Why The President Here, service is more than a task, it is about connection.
