Manager: Tyre Bay

To manage the processes, teams and resources accountable for the tyre bay and procurement of suitable product at right prices, contributing to operational effectiveness, client / customer satisfaction, reduced risk, profitability and compliance to relevant policies and regulatory requirements Key Performance Areas Define standard operating procedures and implement and manage end to end processes. Monitor and report on progress against operational plans and adjust where required. Formulate a plan which includes milestones and priorities to deliver on operational objectives. Plan, manage and monitor initiatives to ensure customer service excellence. Analyse and report and advise on tyre tests, surveys and research. Establish and manage agreements and relationships with tyre suppliers. Manage stock levels. Manage the tyre lifecycle process. Implement and manage workforce planning, recruitment, learning and development, performance management, reward and recognition and employee relations to ensure an optimal working environment. Create an engaging, enabling and productive work climate aligned to the employee value proposition by demonstrating leadership through personal commitment to organisational values. Manage operational risk and risk mitigation initiatives. Manage, monitor and report on budget variances in order to maximise financial performance. Qualifications Up to 8 years of experience in a similar environment with at least 5 years operational leadership or specialist experience. Proficient budgeting and cost management knowledge and / or skill. Proficient business and operations management knowledge and / or skill. Proficient people management and development knowledge and / or skill. Proficient service level management knowledge and / or skill. Proficient labour relations procedures knowledge and / or skill.
