Key Role responsibilities The preferred candidate will lead design components within the Energy and Industrial civil sector of Zutari's offshoring department. The role involves close interaction with engineers and client representatives on design components, with ongoing collaboration. It also requires mentoring junior staff in various design aspects within the industry. The individual must produce high-quality, technically complex designs and perform well in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround times. Generate Civil 3D models and drawings using surface and pipe network creation tools, demonstrating advanced proficiency within Civil 3D. Create/export models for interdisciplinary coordination within Navisworks and/or Infraworks. Provide draughting capabilities for civil engineering projects, especially within industrial, energy, and petrochemical sectors. Assist civil engineers, technologists, and technicians with draughting and design tasks related to civil engineering projects in our global design centre. Stay updated with new innovative draughting technologies. Work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Minimum requirements: Grade 12 (Matric) Draughting Certificate At least 5 years of experience as an Engineering Civil Draughtsperson in petrochemical, energy, industrial, or mining civil/structural projects. Proficiency in Navisworks (Intermediate) Knowledge of Infraworks (Advantageous) Experience with BIM360 Experience with ProjectWise We believe that a diverse workforce is key to our business success.
