Vacancy: Warehouse Supervisor – Cape Town, Western Cape Indgro Outsourcing (Pty) Ltd, trading as Indgro Multi Services Group, has a vacancy for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor within the Retail industry. The successful applicant will be based at our client’s site in Epping, Cape Town. Applicants must reside in and around the Epping area. Duties & Responsibilities Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations. Implementing operational policies and procedures. Accurate capturing of stock. Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment. Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities. Maintaining receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. Complying with local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on required actions. Safeguarding warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols. Controlling inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with the data storage system. Maintaining the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair, and requisitions for replacement. Actively participating in health and safety initiatives, taking a lead role in safety optimization. Keeping track of records, reports, and other documentation, ensuring all files are up to date and confidential. Ensuring all employees adhere to the company’s health, safety, and security policies and procedures. Desired Experience & Qualifications Grade 12 (Twelve). At least 4 (Four) years of proven supervisory experience in warehousing with large volumes of stock items and/or SKUs. Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations, management, and supervision of staff. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Intermediate level of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Safety management and surveillance skills and experience. Data analysis. Developing standards. Equipment maintenance. Package & Remuneration To be discussed. Interested?
