Overview Join to apply for the Finance Manager - Corporate Reporting role at Games Global The purpose of this position is to own and manage the Group consolidation workbook and Group Reporting Pack on a monthly and annual basis, supporting the delivery of all internal and external reporting responsibilities within the Finance function and providing Finance reporting for key stakeholders. Responsibilities Construction of an effective monthly and annual consolidation workbook where appropriate, underpinned by relevant supporting schedules with a clearly defined audit trail for all items Production and management of financial reports to be provided to key stakeholders, including but not limited to Monthly management accounts Cash flow reporting Interim and Year-end reporting Regulatory and statutory reporting and filings Provide insightful information to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making Assist in managing the successful delivery of statutory company and group audits Develop models and reporting to meet the demands of the business Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures across the group Identify and implement (where suitable) process and control improvements across all areas of Finance Provide leadership and direction to support the achievement of the company mission, vision and values Lead with ad-hoc project work as and when required Demonstrate leadership skills in interactions with the wider Finance team and other stakeholders Appreciate and encourage the work of the team, increasing productivity and motivation Assist in managing the training & development needs of team members Skills, Competencies & Creativity Displays a high level of numeracy, understanding of statistics, strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability Demonstrates a logical and thorough approach and pays attention to detail Operates with integrity, honesty and keeps to commitments to demonstrate care Takes independent action by suggesting new ideas or solutions to problems High level of discretion Communicate effectively and appropriately with all stakeholders Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines at all times, whilst appropriately managing expectations on deliverable timelines Manages and embraces change, and helps to instill a vision for positive change in others within the wider Finance team through motivation and goal-congruent vision Patient and approachable Driven to succeed, well-organised, self-motivated and proactive Strong skills in MS Office packages, particularly Excel Qualifications Chartered Accountant – CA / ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with a background in Audit Strong knowledge of accounting and reporting standards, legislation and best practice Relevant industry experience with strong understanding of internal controls frameworks and a track record of effectively executing meaningful change Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Experience 3+ years' experience in a Finance Manager (or similar) role Strong knowledge of accounting and reporting standards, legislation and best practice Relevant industry experience with strong understanding of internal controls frameworks and a track record of effectively executing meaningful change Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Confidential and professional manner Takes full ownership of responsibilities and ensures they are completed to a high standard, also taking accountability for the quality and timeliness of processes and output Games Global is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
