**About The Role**

We’re looking for an experienced accounting professional (with 3+ years of experience) to join our team to further enable our vision of becoming the forerunner in technology driven accounting.

We like to provide autonomy within our defined processes and workflows, so we want this team member to demonstrate initiative to produce high quality and efficient accounts.

It is essential that you have worked in an environment where you’ve had to juggle a high volume of clients and reviewed junior team members’ work to ensure that their books are updated monthly.

You're interested in business finance and how things fit together. You enjoy speaking with clients and helping improve their business by passing on knowledge and insights.

When it comes to bookkeeping, you know your stuff (and what you don't know, you'll know where to find the answer).

**Summary of responsibilities**:

- Lead, Coach & Mentor a team of Finance Associates
- Responsible for a portfolio of clients
- Responsible for all accounting tasks including: annual filings, balance sheet reconciliations etc.
- Adhering to all SLA’s with client delivery
- Ensure data quality implemented by Finance Associate is up to par
- Review and improve new ways of working and automation(s) with our client in mind
- Manage customer communication and build relationships (of portfolio)
- Delivering exceptional customer service

**Requirements**:

- BCOM or BCOM honours or CA/CIMA qualified
- 2+ years experience in related field
- Strong communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of Xero
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, G-suite
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Comfortable with using task management softwares
- Experience of implementing change and improving financial processes
- Incredible attention to detail
- Strong team player
- Excellent English skills, both written and verbal
- Drive and ambition
