Quality Technician – Functional area: Production – Onsite or Remote: Onsite – Location: Pretoria, GT, ZA – Company: Epiroc Digital Safety Solutions South Africa – Date of posting: Oct 30, Mission of the role Join us as a Quality Technician. Your Mission Perform final inspections on electronic products before packaging and dispatch. Verify that all components are correctly assembled and functioning according to specifications. Conduct functional and visual tests using appropriate tools and procedures. Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records. Identify and report non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues. Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and relevant industry regulations. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department. Uphold Epiroc's values and "The Epiroc Way" in all internal and external interactions. Perform any other reasonable duties within scope of competence. Your Profile Technical diploma or certificate in electronics or quality control preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in electronic product inspection or quality control. Familiarity with electronic testing equipment and procedures. Experience in the mining or industrial electronics sector is advantageous.
