Job Description: Senior Account Director Location: Hybrid until further notice A Little Bit About The Role Are you looking for an opportunity to innovate with brands? Involving the development of strategy, creative concepts, content and campaign implementation? This role will be underpinned by passion and ambition, and those with experience in leading digital content and social campaigns within a creative agency will have an advantage. What we want to see is a proven track record of driving multiple complex projects forward, and the ability to bring in new business. You should have meticulous attention to detail, understand the importance of the profitability of your projects for the agency and you will have proven yourself as a safe pair of hands on the day‑to‑day management of the account. What You’ll Be Doing Global governance and network operations Partner with the Global Managing Partner to design and implement consistent global ways of working, comms planning, and governance frameworks across studios/markets. Identify and share best practices; define, build, and maintain a library of best‑practice templates and toolkits for the global network. Lead network‑wide communications and community programs (Town Halls: agenda, content, deck build, coordination with studio leads). Manage the Global Awards Program with the ECD: collate work, lead communications, and coordinate internal/external submissions. Build and maintain an up‑to‑date creative case study library for internal and client use. Maintain Global Teams chat channels and global ops document storage; manage the Global Template Directory to ensure consistency. Coordinate studio infrastructure needs and act as liaison for business reviews, action tracking, and governance checkpoints. Client leadership and brand stewardship Serve as an escalation point, ensuring a consistently positive client experience and brand guardianship across all workstreams. Provide strategic counsel; constructively challenge briefs and propose value‑adding solutions that align with client ambition. Educate clients on new ways of working, global processes, and operational changes; negotiate win‑win outcomes for client and agency. Support senior leadership presentations (pre/post planning, presentation build, stakeholder management). Program and project delivery Triage and prioritize initiatives with Creative/Production leadership; allocate Account Management resources to meet global demand. Lead Tier 2/3 and new/complex projects; ensure clarity of requirements, scope, and success criteria across markets. Monitor run rate, delivery cadence, and client satisfaction; proactively flag and resolve risks, issues, and inter dependencies. Identify large upcoming work pockets; escalate to BD/Head of Ops for capacity planning and resourcing. Process excellence and continuous improvement Ensure internal processes and SLAs are understood and adhered to globally; train teams and cascade updates effectively. Capture process gaps and propose improvements; work with BD/Head of Ops/department leads to implement changes. Drive continuous improvement in key departmental processes to increase productivity and client satisfaction. Commercial and SOW management Support scoping yearly with client procurement and internal processes. Support the Global Statement of Work process with the Global Programme Director; ensure SOWs are in place, tracked, and governed. Partner with finance/ops to maintain accurate commercial reporting and inform proactive decision‑making. Data, reporting, and tooling Set and maintain global reporting cadences (Studio MI reports, business reviews, client communications). Oversee MI tooling (e.g., ZoHo) onboarding/training for ADs and global ops; partner with Data Analytics Manager to ensure dashboards are accurate and up to date. Support Decideware and other client governance/reporting platforms as required. People leadership and culture Manage and mentor direct/indirect reports; set expectations, coach performance, and support career development against KPIs. Foster a solution‑first, proactive culture with strong QC standards and client centricity. Lead knowledge‑sharing, upskilling, and external/global training sessions; encourage innovation and cross‑market collaboration. What You’ll Need Strategic, level‑headed leader with gravitas and excellent stakeholder management. Proactive, organized, and detail‑oriented; comfortable running multiple global workstreams in a fast‑paced environment. Strong presenter and communicator; clear, confident, and diplomatic with excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Appreciates and can evaluate great creative; effective partner to creative and production teams. Financially astute with solid commercial judgment and resource planning capability. Cool under pressure; anticipates risks; re‑plans effectively to protect delivery and outcomes. 7–10+ years in integrated agency client services/account leadership, including multi‑market/global program experience. Proven success managing blue‑chip, fast‑paced, high‑deliverable accounts and creative/production teams. Demonstrable experience in governance, process design/rollout, and training across distributed teams. Track record in scoping, budgeting, profitability management, and delivery of digital/social/content programs. Experience managing client relationships at senior levels and leading cross‑functional initiatives. Tools and platforms Proficiency with collaboration, documentation tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint/Drive), presentation software, and PM tools. Familiarity with MI/reporting platforms and client governance tools (e.g., ZoHo dashboards; Decideware). Comfortable coordinating virtual events and global training sessions. Success metrics Client satisfaction/NPS and relationship depth across markets. On‑time, on‑budget delivery; portfolio margin and revenue growth. Adoption of global processes/standards; training completion and engagement. Data integrity and timeliness of MI reporting; reduction in escalations. Volume/quality of case studies and awards participation. Growth in scope and cross‑network collaboration.
