Role Purpose The role is responsible for the smooth running of customer workstations, troubleshooting incidents, and supporting local wired equipment, applications, hardware, and operating systems. Role Responsibilities Day‑to‑day support of customer workstation environments. Perform project related duties regarding new deployments or development requirements. Troubleshoot technical faults and provide satisfactory fixes. Update customers on progress by telephone and email. Record progress in the Logicalis ticketing system. Provide day‑to‑day administration for managed service customers. Provide input to customer‑facing Technical Incident Reports. Capture repeat faults and conduct root‑cause analysis. Proactively identify fault trends. Maintain and update customer technical documentation. Share knowledge and develop peer relationships with key suppliers. Work with other departments to understand and share technical strategy. Delivery Responsibilities Work as part of the on‑call rota, ensuring resources are available 24 X 7. Attend customer sites for onsite projects and support activities. Identify gaps in existing documentation, knowledge and skills. Create and maintain technical customer documentation. Ensure customer transition pre‑requisites are delivered. Conduct technical audits for key customers as part of the Service Improvement Process. Support clients on site and remotely with all workstation and application related problems. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Change implementation quality. Complete partnership and technical skill certifications. Customer and end‑user satisfaction and relationships. Customer service improvements. Identify project opportunities. ISO 27001 and 20000 compliance. Project execution and service transition quality. Ticket management disciplines and SLA. Timesheet completion quality. Skills and Competencies Accountable execution. Smart decision making. Experience 2+ years configuring, troubleshooting and administering Microsoft Windows workstations. Experience with Microsoft Office applications. Experience configuring, troubleshooting, and administering antivirus solutions. Administration and troubleshooting of computer hardware (Dell, IBM, HP). Qualifications Experience in desktop support. Experience in Microsoft Office. Experience in Windows 10 and 11. Basic networking and Wi‑Fi. Basic storage management. Very good troubleshooting skills. Basic printing troubleshooting. Good IT hardware and software troubleshooting skills. Additional Skills & Attributes Professional in the field. Strong remote troubleshooting skills. Ability to work in a busy, high‑pressure environment. Detailed and accurate approach to duties. Clear verbal and written communication. Good listener, able to explain technical issues to varied levels. Work with minimal supervision, highly motivated and productive. Calm under high‑impact incidents. Client focused with a customer‑care mindset. Numerate and literate with eye for detail. Professional and diligent. Excellent communicator at all levels. Team player, self‑motivated. Professional telephone manners. Experience dealing with enterprise customers. Enthusiastic, energetic and confident. Good PC skills, MS Office packages. Full, clean driving licence. Own transport.
