Initially produced small brass bushings before expanding into bronze wear parts for the mining industry. Known for quality, service, and fast delivery, becoming a trusted source for replacement parts in mining and aggregates. Recognized as a full‑line provider of high‑performance crusher replacement parts, mill lift inserts, undercarriage components for shovels, and a growing line of replacement parts for large‑scale open‑pit mining equipment. Acquired by FLSmidth A/S and continues to operate as part of the group, doing business as Excel, while carrying forward its legacy of innovation, quality, and reliability. About The Department The Service Business Line – Spare Parts – Excel Foundry & Machine focuses on delivering high‑performance spare parts, aftermarket solutions, and services tailored to our mining customers' most demanding operational needs. By combining technical expertise with customer‑focused strategies, we ensure uptime, reliability, and long‑term value creation across Africa. Key Accountabilities Drive sales of qualified projects, contributing to business growth and profitability. Evaluate and define the Go‑to‑Market approach for different countries and customer segments. Lead preparation of project plans, milestones, and resources to deliver proposals that meet client expectations while ensuring favourable terms for FLSmidth. Set direction for cross‑functional teams to ensure proposals are complete, competitive, and aligned with customer needs. Monitor project progress, recommend corrective actions, and ensure proposals are delivered on time. Conduct client meetings, representing technical and commercial aspects of the sales process. Build and maintain strong networks inside and outside FLSmidth to identify and capture new opportunities. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and collaboration within the team and across stakeholders. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 5 years' experience in mining, aftermarket, or industrial sales. Proven track record in project sales, negotiation, and contract management. Strong understanding of mining equipment, spare parts, and service business dynamics. Crushing technology experience. Demonstrated ability to develop strategies and execute market penetration initiatives in Africa. Willingness to travel. Strong commercial acumen with experience influencing at senior customer levels.
