AI Marketing Operations Engineer (Offshore, Remote) About The Role We are seeking a versatile and highly skilled AI Marketing Operations Engineer to anchor our global marketing technology, data, and process infrastructure. This person will spend their day mostly in our systems—in our applicant tracking system, databases, and CRM—managing, optimizing, and scaling critical infrastructure across multiple business units. This is a highly technical, hands‑on role where you will build, maintain, and optimize core marketing systems. You will diagnose challenges with integrations, including Zapier, to fuel marketing campaigns. Additionally, you will build HubSpot workflows and may handle the setup, development, or optimization of text campaigns via Twilio. Crucially, this role will lead our investment in AI‑driven marketing systems. We want candidates who have built something in this space, such as agents, custom GPTs, and complex workflows. This role may also be titled AI Marketing Engineer, AI Automation Engineer, or AI Strategist. Duties & Responsibilities AI‑Powered Automation & Innovation Lead the integration and optimization of AI tools to enhance marketing process automation, data enrichment, reporting, and communication workflows. Design, build, and deploy custom AI agents, GPTs, or advanced automations within HubSpot, Dynamics, Zapier, and related tools to achieve measurable operational efficiency gains. Structure and refine prompt templates, metadata frameworks (e.g., audience profiles, CTA libraries), and reference tables to power consistent and accurate generative AI output. Collaborate with internal teams to identify repetitive or manual marketing processes that can be streamlined through generative AI or machine learning tools. Support and document pilot programs evaluating emerging AI‑powered marketing technologies (e.g., HubSpot AI, Dynamics Copilot, OpenAI tools, or third‑party AI connectors). Marketing Technology Management & Optimization Maintain, optimize, and integrate the marketing technology stack, including HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zapier, Power Automate, Segment, and Twilio. Build and manage advanced marketing automation workflows, lead nurturing sequences, and campaign triggers within HubSpot. Create and manage integrations and data pipelines between CRM, CDP, and marketing tools to ensure accurate, real‑time data flow. Handle the setup and optimization of text campaigns via Twilio, ensuring compliance and deliverability. Partner with IT and external vendors to troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance system performance and data governance. Data Management & CRM Alignment Maintain and enhance marketing lead and contact databases; ensure data hygiene, deduplication, and accuracy across systems. Serve as a subject‑matter expert on segmentation logic, list building, and HubSpot audience tools. Troubleshoot and optimize workflow connections across tools, ensuring no breakdowns between forms, automations, and integrations. Enable consistent lead attribution and funnel velocity measurement, ensuring visibility into marketing contribution. Qualifications Core Experience (Required) 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in marketing operations or digital marketing technology. Offshore, remote, full‑time work schedule, comfortable with EST overlap. Hands‑on expertise with HubSpot Marketing Hub (Enterprise preferred) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM. Strong familiarity with data integration platforms such as Zapier, Power Automate, or Segment. Experience in setting up or optimizing text/SMS campaign development, ideally using Twilio. AI & Automation Expertise (Crucial) Proven, hands‑on experience using AI tools or APIs to build or optimize marketing workflows. Ability to provide evidence of past AI‑related projects where you built agents, custom GPTs, or complex, working automation workflows. Familiarity with AI‑powered data processing, content automation, or predictive analytics within marketing or CRM environments. Experience creating or configuring AI automations that improve operational efficiency. Technical Skills Proficiency in marketing automation, CRM, and data management systems. Knowledge of SQL, API integrations, or low‑code automation tools preferred. Strong Excel/Google Sheets and Power BI (or similar data visualization) skills. Core Competencies Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges across integrated systems. High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Builder mindset with extreme curiosity for automation and AI‑driven efficiency. Comfortable working offshore in a cross‑time‑zone, fast‑paced environment with U.S.-based stakeholders. Success in This Role Looks Like A successful transition of the core technical marketing ops function to the offshore team. A documented playbook of AI‑assisted workflows built, tested, and scaled by this role. Seamless data integrity and system connectivity across all MarTech systems. Automation and process efficiencies that reduce manual workload and increase campaign velocity. Marketing automations and processes are increasingly scalable.
