Location & Working Style Johannesburg, South Africa — hybrid (split between our Joburg office and home). You’ll be in-office for collaboration and team days, flexibility to work remotely the rest of the week. To begin with will need to spend a minimum of three days in the office with our team. The Opportunity We’re looking for a detail-obsessed systems-minded Marketing Operations Executive to keep our clients’ CRM and lead engines running smoothly. This role is for someone who loves clean data, smart automations, and reporting that actually tells a story. You’ll sit at the centre of our marketing delivery — building and maintaining CRM workflows, ensuring accurate tracking and lead scoring, supporting campaign execution behind the scenes, and producing clear performance insights for the team and clients. Key Responsibilities CRM & Automation Own the setup, maintenance, and optimisation of our CRMs (HubSpot + GoHighLevel) to ensure clean data, reliable lead flow, and scalable automations Build and improve pipelines, workflows, automations, and nurture sequences Implement and manage lead scoring and lifecycle stages> Ensure CRM best practices followed across campaigns and teams Tracking, Attribution & Data Hygiene Setup and QA tracking systems (UTMs, conversions, event tracking, Implement UTM conventions and tracking best practices across campaigns Support basic GA4/Tag Manager setups (or show clear willingness to learn) Monitor data accuracy and troubleshoot tracking issues quickly Maintain excellent data hygiene: deduping, segmentation, field management, imports/exports Create scalable processes to keep data clean as we grow Support outbound and partnership-led growth through LinkedIn and Sales Navigator Assist in building and refining target lists, tagging, and segmentation Help ensure leads flow correctly from prospecting → CRM → campaigns → sales Reporting & Insights Build dashboards and recurring performance reports in CRM and spreadsheets Track and report on funnel health: lead volume, conversion rates, MQL/SQL quality, pipeline impact Surface trends, gaps, and opportunities in a way that helps the team act fast Provide ad hoc reporting for campaigns and internal priorities Campaign & Team Support Support campaign launches by ensuring back-end setup is accurate and ready Work closely with marketing execs and client teams to ensure smooth delivery Strong QA mindset, proactively check flows, tracking, and data before campaigns go live Document processes clearly so we can scale without chaos The Perfect Match Lives in CRMs and can confidently navigate HubSpot/GoHighLevel and CRMs in general Has built (or is excited to build) tracking + lead scoring systems Is sharp with LinkedIn and Sales Navigator for list building and lead flow Has exceptional attention to detail Can manage data admin and entry without letting standards slip Communicates clearly and confidently in writing and calls Enjoys turning messy systems into clean, scalable ones Takes initiative, solves problems, and doesn’t wait to be asked Experience & Skills Must-haves Strong working knowledge of HubSpot, Zoho and/or GoHighLevel Experience setting up automations, workflows, pipelines, and reporting Experience with project management (Trello, Monday or similar) Confident in building and maintaining lead scoring + tracking frameworks Excellent data handling habits (accuracy, structure, consistency) Comfortable producing reports for internal teams and clients Nice to-haves Prior agency experience Familiarity with analytics tools (GA4, Looker Studio, etc.) Basic understanding of APIs/zapier/integrations Experience supporting outbound/partnership funnels About Us Twenty One Twelve Marketing delivers strategic growth marketing to clients targeting hard-to-reach audiences.
