Development Team Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to ensure they understand the backlog items. Essential Qualifications - NQF Level Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees Preferred Qualification BSC Computer science BCom Information Technology OR Preferred Qualification: Product Owner Training/Course (Formal or Informal) Minimum Experience Level Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner within a Business Analysis (BA) environment. Proven experience in AML risk management, compliance, or financial crime prevention. Proven experience working in an Agile environment. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively between technical and business teams. Tools: Experience with AML compliance tools such as Actimize, SAS, or similar. Familiarity with Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, and Trello. Understanding of financial services regulations and compliance frameworks. Knowledge of KYC, CDD, transaction monitoring, and fraud detection methodologies.
