KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS Set, implement and manage operational clinical plans aligned with Emergency Medicine strategy Oversee clinical performance in the emergency medical environment and provide operational support Provide specialist expertise and support to emergency centres Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships REQUIRED EDUCATION ESSENTIAL EDUCATION DESIRED EDUCATION REQUIRED EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE Minimum 5 to 10 years clinical experience, of which 3 – 5 should be in a Specialist function / SME-role such as Unit or branch Manager, Patient Safety, Risk Management Experience in the private emergency medicine environment REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Data analysis and interpretation skills Infection prevention and control knowledge Clinical risk management Nursing functional knowledge Training and facilitation methodologies Healthcare industry knowledge Continuous improvement and quality assurance methodologies Research, reporting writing and presenting All applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given in accordance with the Employment Equity Plan of Mediclinic Southern Africa, as well as internal applicants / employees that meet the minimum requirements.
