Introduction Clinical Governance Specialist – Emergency Medicine (Permanent) Western Cape / Hybrid. We require a Clinical Governance Specialist for our client to implement, drive, and sustain clinical quality standards within the emergency medical environment, ensuring operational excellence, patient safety, and continuous improvement across healthcare facilities. Workplace Type: Hybrid Duties & Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage operational clinical plans aligned with emergency medicine objectives. Oversee clinical performance and provide specialist operational support to medical units. Deliver expert clinical guidance to emergency departments and ensure adherence to best practice standards. Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships across multidisciplinary teams. Desired Experience & Qualification Education Requirements: Essential: Registered / Professional Nursing qualification (SANC registered). Desired: Additional qualification or specialisation in Emergency Medicine, Risk Management, or Quality Assurance is advantageous. Experience Requirements: Minimum 5–10 years' clinical experience, with at least 3–5 years in a specialist or leadership role (e.g. Unit Manager, Patient Safety Officer, or Risk Management). Proven experience in the private emergency medicine environment is essential.
