Join a motivated and friendly team as Full Stack Developer (located in Bloemfontein, South Africa) Your responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain both customer-facing and internal applications to support and enhance clinical research activities. Collaborate with clinical data managers, biostatisticians, statistical programmers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications. Develop and maintain robust back-end services and APIs using languages such as Python, Java, or .NET. Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance and scalability. Implement data analytics and reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making. Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal software issues. Stay current with new technology trends and evaluate modern software technologies to enhance the development process. Your profile Completed studies in computer science, digital media or a related technical field with a proven focus on computer science, alternatively a comparable IT education with several years of professional experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in full stack development, including both front-end and back-end technologies. Strong experience in server-side languages such as Python, Java, or .NET. Experience with SQL database design and management. Knowledge of data science methodologies and tools (e.g., Python libraries for data analysis) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
