The Head of Product defines, maintains, and evolves the Product Management craft across X, bigly labs. This role ensures consistency, quality, and maturity of product practices across all tribes by setting standards, growing talent, and building organisational capability. As the organisational voice of Product, the Head of Product represents product management in leadership forums, aligning strategy, execution, and customer outcomes with company priorities. What We're Looking For 10+ years of experience in product management, including at least 5 in a senior leadership or chapter-level role. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field, or related experience. Proven track record developing and delivering successful product strategies at scale. Demonstrated ability to build, coach, and develop diverse, high-performing product teams. Strong commercial and analytical acumen, with ability to link product success to business outcomes. Deep understanding of agile product delivery, dual-track discovery / delivery, and experimentation frameworks. Advantageous: experience in health tech, retail, or regulated environments; postgraduate degree in Product Management, Business, or Strategy. What You Will Be Doing Crafting Leadership Talent Development & Coaching, Strategic Alignment & Influence, Practice Standards & Governance, Culture & Collaboration. Structured thinking to complex organisational and strategic problems. Balance long-term product vision with short-term delivery goals. Anticipate risk, identify dependencies, and manage ambiguity effectively. Proficient in product and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Miro, Figma, analytics platforms). Apply experimentation, data analysis, and insight frameworks. Work effectively with engineering and design leads to ensure feasibility and delivery quality. Inspire confidence and shared purpose within the product discipline. Lead through influence, clarity, and example rather than hierarchy. Develop and retain top talent through mentorship and transparent growth pathways.
