The Account Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing customers, and meeting sales targets.**Job Description:*** Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.* Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential high-value clients.* Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.* Achieve and exceed own individual sales targets on a monthly and quarterly basis.* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services to key clients.* Work with the business development team to create and execute strategies for expanding the customer base.* Provide ongoing support and consultation to allocated customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.* Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.* Report on sales performance, account status, and market insights to senior management.* Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Internal sales, Order management, finance, engineering and quality) to ensure timely delivery of products and services.* Participate in marketing and customer event shows* Maintain all sales and customer information on the CRM systems* Conduct and facilitate customer product training* Required to travel into Africa to develop allocated country* Additional duties from time-to-time as prescribe by Line Manager**Requirements:*** Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent tertiary qualification* Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Qualified Trade tested Fitter would be an advantage* Minimum 5 years proven track record in sales, accounts management, or business development within the Industrial Gearbox industry* Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Sales forces) and sales tracking tools is a plus.* Must live in the **Mpumalanga area. (E.g.
