Account Manager - Mining Johannesburg South (Talent Pool) Hilti Group is seeking an experienced Account Manager with the ability to travel as required to oversee our Mining client base. The successful team member will take ownership of Hilti’s market share and further develop profitable sales. Key Locations Potchefstroom Stilfontein Randfontein Roodepoort (south) Carletonville Westonaria Fochville Vaal What You’ll Do Undertake ownership of the assigned territory to develop sales using all elements of our sales process, analyze, implement, and control opportunities within the territory to achieve assigned targets. Operate across construction sites, industrial plants, offices, and warehouses in the Mining segment. Build fruitful working relationships with partners, contractors, system integrators, and end users; actively manage and develop key products within the sales territory by targeting appropriate customer groups and ensuring successful introduction of new products. Demonstrate, service, train, and (where appropriate) test Hilti products. Obtain information on competition, market price levels, new launches, seminars, new outlets, quality issues, product deliveries and report in monthly reports. What You’ll Bring Completed degree/diploma (preferred but not a must). Relevant sales / direct technical sales experience in Mining or Construction/Heavy Duty Industry. Proficient in SFDC or SAP CRM. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in MS Office. Strong drive to consistently meet performance targets. An agile approach to solving problems, with a solution‑oriented mind‑set. Strong business acumen, with a team‑oriented attitude. Willingness to go the extra mile.
