This department is responsible for advising on credit risk, developing controls, and performing credit analyses. Among the responsibilities of this position are: delivering credit risk reports on a regular and ad hoc basis for the credit risk department, providing accurate analysis and data collection of various report types, as well as maintaining databases.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and distribute credit risk reports to senior stakeholders
  • Validate and explain credit risk data derived from a variety of sources
  • Investigate breaches, coordinating with various departments, providing updates, and reviewing follow-up plans
  • Assist Credit Risk Analysts with assessing credit risk activities, such as spreading financial data, scoring counter-parties, and reviewing credit ratings and limits
  • Ensure that data integrity is maintained across multiple systems
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of systems, reports, and procedures
  • Establish effective communication with management and the credit department

Education:
  • Bachelorâs Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Management, Actuarial, Risk Management, or Economics (Honours degree preferred)
  • Beneficial - CFA

Job Experience and Skills Required:
  • 1-2 years in Credit Risk Management
  • Financial Analysis (advantageous)
  • VBA / Python coding skills (advantageous)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and accurate
