Responsibilities:To audit, evaluate, download and print the relevant invoicing information from MGB.To create accurate debtor invoices, send them out to clients timeously, ensure the company receives payment in a timely manner.Ensure every invoice sent out is accurateFollow up on outstanding documentationResolve billing errorsMinimize billing errors/duplicationsWork with other members of the financial staff, such as Accountants and BookkeepersPerform any necessary administrative duties as may be assigned from time to timeMaximize daily processing number of invoicesTo audit, evaluate, download and print relevant supplier invoicing information from MGBProcess accurate supplier invoices for payment and within the stipulated time frame.Ensure every invoice captured for payment is accurateResolve invoicing errorsMinimize invoicing errors/duplicationsWork with other members of the financial staff, such as Accountants and BookkeepersPrepare account statements for suppliers if requiredFollow up on outstanding documentationAssist with creditor reconciliationsPerform any necessary administrative duties as may be assigned from time to timeMaximize daily processing number of invoices Skills and Qualifications :Accuracy when preparing and sending out debtor invoicesAccuracy when processing creditor invoicesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsUnderstanding of basic accountingStrong attention to detail to keep accurate accounting entriesExtensive experience on Pastel accounting softwareSolid organizational skills to keep track of invoicesGreat customer service skills to work with various clientsKnowledge of data entry for record keepingGeneral administrative skills, including managing emails, reports etc Experience:Extensive experience with invoicing on Pastel Accounting and a basic knowledge of bookkeeping would be an added advantageInvoicing Clerk hands on experience of at least 3 yearsMust be able to work well under pressure and handle large volumes of daily invoices to be generated and processed on a daily basis
