About the RoleOur client is urgently seeking an Invoicing Clerk to join their team in Port Elizabeth. This role is initially on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position. The ideal candidate will be unemployed and available to start immediately.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and manage invoices, orders, and delivery notesEnsure accuracy of billing and maintain proper documentationCapture data and maintain records in Pastel (non-negotiable requirement)Liaise with internal departments to resolve invoicing queriesSupport the finance team with general administration when required Minimum RequirementsMatric / Grade 12 (Finance-related qualification advantageous)Proven Pastel Accounting experience (essential – non-negotiable)Previous experience in an invoicing or finance administration roleStrong attention to detail and high level of accuracyAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesExcellent communication and organisational skillsCompetenciesReliable and deadline-drivenTeam player with the ability to work independentlyStrong problem-solving abilityFlexible and willing to assist with additional tasks as needed
