Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed and assembly drawings based on engineers layouts.
  • Convert hand sketches to CAD using draughting standards.
  • Collaborate with designers to ensure design clarity.
  • Write high-quality assembly instructions for production.
  • Standardize layouts and incorporate design changes (ECP).
  • Verify part fits and manage CAD files.
  • Update older drawings and perform Engineering Change Management.
  • Attend design reviews and project meetings.
Minimum Requirements: N5 Multi-disciplinary Draughting or equivalent Diploma (Mechanical Design)
Proficiency in MS Office and Solid Works 2023
2 to 5 years of experience in design & manufacturing (preferred industries: Manufacturing, Defense, Aeronautics, Automotive, or Telecommunications)
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (ERP)
  • Strong technical writing for assembly instructions
  • Knowledge of Configuration & Product Data Management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills focused on quality
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
