RESPONSIBILITY OF JOB

The incumbent will report directly to the IT Manager. The SAGE X3 administrator is an individual with communication skills and be capable of articulating technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Advanced knowledge and expertise in utilizing the SAGE X3 enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. Their primary role is to provide technical support and guidance to users within an organization using the SAGE X3 system. Your role will also involve business analysis and improvement of processes and procedures within the organization. Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all SAGE X3-related issues and inquiries within the organization.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for SAGE X3 users.
  • Train and onboard new users on SAGE X3 functionalities and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system enhancements and improvements.
  • Configure, customize and maintain the SAGE X3 system to align with business requirements.
  • Develop and implement user access controls and security protocols within the SAGE X3 system.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including user manuals and training materials.
  • Stay up to date with the latest SAGE X3 features, updates, and industry trends.
  • IT Asset & Licences management
  • Risk Management & Compliance
  • Assisting the team with any Disaster or data recoveries
  • Supplier & contract management
  • Any other ad hoc assignments requested by the Group Information Technology Manager that falls within the skills and responsibilities of the job description.

Requirements:

  • Good experience working with the SAGE X3 ERP software or similar, preferably as a super user or administrator.
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP modules, functionalities, and configuration options.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address system issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide support and training to users.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and understand business requirements.
  • Familiarity with database management and SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate documentation.
  • Continuous learning mindset to keep up with ERP updates and industry advancements.

Minimum requirements:
  • Sage ERP certified or similar.
  • 2-5 years ERP support experience pref. Sage X3.
  • Some travel may be required from time to time.
