Chief AuditorLocation: East Rand (Hybrid)Salary: Up to R 2 000 000 CTC per annumAbout the Role:Our client is seeking an experienced Chief Auditor to lead their internal audit function and drive excellence in governance, risk management, and internal control across the organisation. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape and implement best practices, ensure compliance, and provide strategic insights that add tangible value to the business.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the internal audit function, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit and assurance services.Develop, implement, and monitor effective governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks.Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, processes, and procedures across business units.Partner with senior management to identify key risks and ensure proactive mitigation strategies.Drive compliance with applicable legislation, policies, and procedures.Provide thought leadership on internal audit methodologies, risk-based auditing, and continuous improvement initiatives.Manage, coach, and motivate the internal audit team to achieve performance excellence.Collaborate with External Auditors and regulatory bodies where required.Prepare and present detailed audit reports and recommendations to the Audit Committee and executive management.Requirements:Qualified CA(SA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).Minimum of 5 years managerial experience within an internal audit or risk management function.Proven experience in compliance, risk management, and process implementation.Strong people management skills with demonstrated energy, drive, and leadership capability.Advanced proficiency in SAP and solid understanding of financial systems and data analytics.Excellent communication.
