RequirementsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent qualification (NQF 7) preferable5 - 8 years' experience in database administration and designResponsibilitiesTo provide functional support to our client's ERP system users on assigned modules with focus on testing, business analysis, system setup and configurationTo take responsibility for driving ERP business analysis initiatives from initiation to implementation on projects of low/medium risk with a cycle of up to 18 monthsTo facilitate workshops independently and consult with business owners and stakeholders in respect of problem definition and the identification of business requirements To review business processes and procedures, analyse business needs and associated data, identify and assess possible solutions, and define the associated requirementsTo elaborate the scope and feasibility of solutions, and develop the supporting business caseTo manage change requirements and supporting specifications, provide the functional specification and manage acceptance testingTo investigate problem and propose solutions by interacting with users, developers, and other stakeholdersTo configure complex business processes and tasks (where appropriate) within a system for improvementTo identify and register risks within their ERP functional streamsTo develop system training manuals, training plans and present training courses in support of new implementationTo stay abreast of changes to analytical tools and methodologies, and advice the Business Analyst Competency Centre to adhere to new practicesDesign and maintain robust data models, including tables for users (auth tokens), integrations (flows/status), and logs (timestamps/errors), supporting JSONB for flexible API payloadsImplement CRUD operations via indexed queries and enable real-time updates using LISTEN/NOTIFYDevelop integration hooks such as triggers for audit logging and stored procedures for complex joins (e.g., integration patterns analysis)Collaborate with backend teams to expose API endpoints (e.g., /api/integrations) using frameworks like Spring Boot or Node.js/ExpressEnsure performance targets (
