A career opportunity has arisen in the IT** Department - Premier Corporate - Corporate. **This position is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, administration, support and tuning of a multi-server, multi-cloud environment.

**Qualification Requirements**:

- MCSE
- Developing Microsoft SQL Server Databases
- Designing Database Solutions for SQL Server
- Implementing Data Models and Reports with Microsoft SQL Server
- Designing and implementing Business Intelligence Solutions with Microsoft SQL Server
- Developing SQL Databases
- Implementing a SQL Data Warehouse
- Developing SQL Data Models
- Implementing Azure Cosmos DB Solutions

**Experience Requirements**:

- A good knowledge of Azure data storage and on setting up and maintaining database schemas (Including Security roles and setups)
- A good understanding of data Extraction, Transformation, Loading, Archiving, data compression and integrity
- A good understanding of the requirements and workings of a Business Intelligence process and systems
- A good understanding of T-SQL coding
- A good understanding schema and data models including but not limited to Dimensions, Facts, slow moving and fast changing data
- Data warehouse design, construction, and maintenance
- Existing knowledge of Azure managed instances
- Prior knowledge of, or willingness to learn, the Dynamics GP table structure
- Report on user activity and access where required
- Root cause analysis
- Understand, and be able to assist with, Stored procedures, triggers and other SQL components

**Key Outputs**:

- Software installation and Maintenance
- A good understanding of install options vs requirements as set up by the requestor
- Be able to maintain Database engine version, compatibility control and updates
- A good understanding on Memory allocation / Lock page allocations and assignment based on availability and best practice
- A fair knowledge of operating Windows server edition, Storage Spaces, and similar technologies.
- Database Backup and Recovery
- Database restoration to test servers on a regular basis
- Additional backups for special event (IE, data changes and ERP check according to the Change control process and approvals)
- Setup and maintain Daily (Incremental) / Weekly (full) and Hourly (Log) backups
- Security and Authentication
- Application security setup
- A good understanding of Server roles, Schema security, user, and group security
