Are you an experienced Senior SQL DBA with a passion for database design, performance optimization, and troubleshooting? Our client is looking for you to take on a challenging and rewarding role reporting directly to the Senior IT Manager.
You will have approximately 8 years of experience as a Senior SQL DBA, with extensive experience in SQL Server Database Administration, database tuning, and performance optimization.
You should have strong database design and development skills, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and review SQL code using software version control systems.
You should also have a good understanding of Agile Software Development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
Experience with data warehouses, including methodologies and normalization levels, and with Microsoft SQL SSRS reporting services and Power BI would be a big plus.
Additionally, you'll collaborate with vendors and internal support representatives to gather information and determine and implement resolutions.
