Opportunity for a Finance Manager to manage a team responsible for the day to day financial activities of the business and provide advice and recommendations to management for future financial plans. Hands on and involved FM with a great team and culture.Why join this team?Opportunity to lead a team, work closely with senior management, contribute directly to the company's financial health and long-term strategyWhat you will be doing: Oversee finance department operations, set goals, and design frameworks to achieve these goals Maintain and improve internal systems to ensure compliance with relevant legislationPrepare annual financial statements, management accounts, payroll, VAT, and tax submissionsProvide financial reports and recommendations to managementConduct cost-reduction reviews and evaluate opportunitiesAssist in preparing budgets and forecasts Ensure compliance with SARS requirements: Income Tax, Provisional Tax, VAT, PAYE, UIF, and Dividend TaxLead daily and weekly meetings with the Accounts Team and report directly to DirectorLiaise across departments on company plans and financial strategiesWhat we are looking for: Degree or CA(SA)At least 5 years' experience in Finance or Accounting within the travel / tourism industry or similar Proficient in Pastel, advanced Excel, Word, and SAGE Payroll and File DirectorStrong knowledge of the German market and culture (German-speaking an advantage)Proven leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skillsAble to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to extended hours when neededPlease note if you haven't heard back from us within two weeks of submitting your application, unfortunately your application has not been successful this time.
