- Ensure that Products are produced in accordance to specification and quality standards;
- Production Planning including stock controlling and transport management.
- Management of budgets, investment planning and cost control within your department.
- Monitoring and replenishing all Raw materials and compound within department.
- Implement best practice to achieve improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Efficiency.
- Produce and ship on time while maintaining high quality product.
- Inventory Management of raw material and finished goods stock in Departments.
- Possess strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Skilled in managing multiple priorities and consistently meeting deadlines.
- The manager has complete P& L responsibility for department.
- Supervise the product release process to ensure only passed products are dispatched.
- Ensure that all production equipment and infrastructure needed for production are used according to work instructions and that maintenance is carried out on them timeously.
Required Qualification / Educational background 
- Grade 12
- Qualification is Production Management or Business Management or equivalent.
- Industrial or Mechanical engineering qualification advantageous.
- Rubber/engineering/automotive or similar manufacturing experience.
- +- 5 Years in similar role.
