Marketing Manager | Pharmaceutical Animal Health Johannesburg Gauteng Salary: Market Related, Permanent with benefits Purpose of Position: Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Marketing Manager from within the pharmaceutical, animal health or animal feed sectors, for a permanent position based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for defining strategy, planning, forecasting, product development, and ultimately be accountable for revenue growth and profitability for the various brands within the portfolio in alignment with the overall corporate objectives. Apply Directly for this Job by clicking here - https://bit.ly/3LkgmiK Minimum Requirements Qualifications And Skills Grade 12; Relevant Commercial qualification, BVSc, or equivalent Science DegreeA Marketing qualification will be an advantage.A minimum of 5 years experience in a sales or marketing role within the animal health / pharmaceutical industry; agriculture, commercial animal feedsDemonstrated success with product development and launching of new products would be advantageous.Good understanding of animal health and animal husbandry, preferably with knowledge of the animal feed, dairy and feedlot segmentAbility to drive and travel locally and internationally if required.May be requested to work extended hours and weekends for special events and/or training Duties: Portfolio management to maximize revenue and margin.Develop strategic marketing and business plans for the assigned product portfolio, including market and competitive analysis, brand positioning, pricing and development of a communication plan focused on both external and internal customers.Identify and develop new business opportunities.Participate in short-term and long-term financial planning, development of sales and operating budgets, management of and operating within approved financial parameters to enhance profitability; Operating plan preparation for assigned products.Responsible to manage the budget for assigned products.Provide timely marketing materials and programs to the sales force and all channel partners in support of demand creation efforts.Develop a strong knowledge of competitive landscape and customer insights including managing all competitive intelligence.Establish and build strategic partnerships and relationships Technical Skills Requirements ü Ability to think strategically.ü Comprehensive knowledge of marketing processü Strong Communication and interpersonal skillsü Ability to identify and act on business opportunities.ü Strong problem solving and analytical skills.ü Excellent verbal and written communication skillsü Able to deliver effective presentations Skills And Attributes ü Team playerü Strong business acumenü Act decisivelyü Drive for resultsü Demonstrates a high level of accountability Find Us on Social Media
