**Minimum requirements for the role**:

- Tertiary qualification in agriculture - animal health or nutrition would be preferred for the role. (would prefer a BSc in Agric with animal health as a major)
- Previous experience having worked as a Regional Sales Manager within the agricultural market is essential for the role.
- Previous experience having worked within the animal feed / animal health industries is preferred.
- Must be computer literate and ideally have knowledge on SAP.
- Must have good communication and interpersonal skills, analytical thinker with good problem-solving skills.
- Managing and driving the animal feed business on a national basis promoting their animal feed range of products to existing and new customers to achieve budgeted sales volumes.
- Managing and driving a sales team to achieve their KPIs.
- Developing distribution channels for their range of products.
- Supporting sales by holding farmers days and information days in conjunction with formal farmer bodies.
- Developing and increasing sales by encouraging customers to purchase their range of products.
- Liaising with producer organisations.
- Building and maintaining good relationship with customers and stakeholders.
