Recruitment Officer

As a Recruitment Officer, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process within the organization on a national portfolio. You will collaborate with hiring managers across departments to identify staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and ensure a seamless and efficient hiring process. Your role will be crucial in sourcing and attracting qualified candidates who align with our company culture and values.
Responsibilities
Recruitment and Selection
- Assist with managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, from job requisition to offer negotiation and onboarding
- Source and screen candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and internal referrals
- Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit
- Provide feedback and recommendations to hiring managers based on candidate evaluations
- Work closely with department heads and hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs, team dynamics, and desired candidate profiles
- Offer guidance on market trends, salary benchmarking, and hiring best practices
- Build and maintain a pool of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs
- Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Keep candidates informed about their application status and provide feedback when necessary
- Contribute to the development and implementation of employer branding strategies to attract top talent
- Promote the company's culture and values through job descriptions, candidate interactions, and recruitment materials
- Track and report key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate quality, employee turnover
- Assist with assessing and improving recruitment strategies based on data and feedback
- Prepare regular reports on recruitment progress for senior management
- Assist with the coordination of the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company
- Work with HR and other departments to prepare necessary documentation and ensure compliance with legal and company policies
Requirements
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Recruitment Officer, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or Recruitment Consultant, preferably in an in-house environment
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology or a related field is preferred
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, etc.)
- Experience with headhunting methods and tools
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes, sourcing techniques, and interview methodologies
- The ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
