With extensive experience on multi-disciplinary commercial construction projects, you bring a results-driven approach to managing teams, coordinating stakeholders, and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Programme & Project ManagementProgramme management and end-to-end project oversightDraft and maintain the overall project programmeIssue fortnightly micro-programmes to track detailed progressMonitor and report on project progress (including reading/interpreting Gantt charts)Ensure project completion within the specified timelineCompile and issue bi-weekly project progress reports (internal and client-facing)Team & Stakeholder CoordinationManage the full on-site project teamOversee sub-contractor performance and coordinationAttend and present at site meetings with stakeholdersCompile and issue minutes for all sub-contractor meetingsCoordinate with the client and professional teams throughout the project lifecycleApprove site material and equipment ordersSite Management & ComplianceEnsure the construction site is always presentable and well-organizedOversee and enforce site health and safety complianceImplement and monitor waste management plansEnsure all building work complies with industry regulations, bylaws, and issued drawingsDirect and monitor daily site activities and progressManage site-based project office administrationDocumentation & ReportingRecord site instructions and maintain accurate recordsIssue updated drawings to sub-contractors and track distributionReport any drawing issues or discrepanciesRecord daily quality inspections and report on workmanshipCompile project photo library documenting construction stagesPrepare and deliver handover documentation for the operator/clientGeneral AdministrationHandle general office administration for the siteMaintain organized records and documentation to support project audits and closeoutQualification, Skills And Experience Required:Education:B-Tech / BSc in Construction Management, orNational Diploma in Building or a related fieldExperience:8+ Years of proven experience as a Site Agent with solid and proven commercial construction knowledge i.e. construction methods, materials, structural systems as well as finishing processes.4-5 Years of direct people management experience (construction teams and sub-contractors)Proven proDemonstrated experience managing multi-disciplinary projectsTrack record of successfully delivering medium to large-scale projects (R40 million R150 million in value)Sector experience must include high-end residential, commercial, and retail constructionTechnical Skills:Proficient in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, OutlookProven project programming proficiency gained on MS Projects and/or Candy CCS for project planning and costingAbility to read and interpret drawings, site set-up and logistics, health and safety compliance as well as quality controlAdditional Requirements:Valid Drivers LicenseOwn reliable transportTo apply for this role, please forward an updated and detailed copy of your CV to
