Key Responsibilities:

  • Deal Origination & Analysis: Source and evaluate investment opportunities, conduct comprehensive financial analysis, and develop robust investment structures to drive sustainable asset growth.
  • Deal Execution: Perform financial modeling, valuations, and due diligence, and prepare detailed investment reports. Lead negotiations and collaborate with various stakeholders to close transactions.
  • Portfolio & Risk Management: Monitor portfolio performance, implement ESG principles, and ensure compliance with corporate governance standards. Conduct regular site visits and engage in value creation activities for portfolio companies.
  • Value Creation: Support management teams in identifying and executing strategic initiatives, drive value creation opportunities, and plan for successful exits.

 

Requirements:

  • Education: B.Com with majors in Accounting, Economics, or Finance preferred. CFA, CA, or other postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in the Small to Mid-Cap investment sector, with a proven track record in originating, structuring, and closing transactions. Experience in valuations and exits is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong financial modeling, analytical thinking, and business acumen. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
