Debriefing Clerk

Minimum RequirementsEducation:Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification.Experience:34 years experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.Solid understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA 85 of 1993).Knowledge of handling Dangerous Goods is advantageous.Key ResponsibilitiesDebriefing & AdministrationReconcile purchase orders, collect supporting documentation, and verify re-deliveries against trip sheets and proof of deliveries.Verify each purchase order for date, full name, and signature of the Receiving Clerk.Maintain accurate records, reconciliations, and administrative documentation.Resolve any driver or delivery issues that arise during the shift.Manage dispatch-related matters promptly and efficiently.ComplianceOperate within company controls and procedures to ensure data and operational integrity.Report any risks or areas of concern to management.Promote compliance with all relevant regulations to prevent fruitless, wasteful, and irregular expenditure.Customer ServiceSupport internal and external customers while maintaining effective working relationships.Identify and resolve operational issues in line with company values.Contribute to a culture of customer focus and service excellence.People ManagementCoordinate and support relevant team members to ensure efficient operations, cost control, and adherence to safety standards.Essential KnowledgeProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Experience using SAP.Skills & AttributesStrong time management and organizational skills.Excellent communication and numeracy skills.Customer-focused with a strong sense of teamwork.Flexible, reliable, and attentive to detail.Ethical, trustworthy, and dependable.
