Report on and or refer deviations to Internal Auditor for review and distribution to Operations TeamsThe internal auditor will be responsible for Executing RSC Internal Audit Reviews as per Risk & Control Matrix, company’s internal audit approach, plan and agreements. Report on and or refer deviations to Internal Audit Manager for review and distributionKeeping SOX process documents up to date and in line with Global expectations and ensuring compliance with SOX controls by the broader finance teamPreparation of monthly VAT returnsSupporting Compliance financial manager during the statutory audit and financial statement preparation processCompliance with local financial reporting requirementsSupporting the Compliance finance manager to implement a risk and governance frameworkQualifications/Competencies/Skills required:Bachelor’s degree in Financial AccountingMembership in good standing with the Institute of Internal Auditors/SAICA/SAIPA3 – 5 Years’ experience in finance/internal auditing, specifically around the verification and effectiveness of internal controls, financial statement analysis and procedures within a FMCG environmentStrong IT skills and competency in Computer assisted Audit Techniques (CAAT’S)Microsoft Office SuiteStrong report writing and communication skills. (Ability to have tough conversations)Solid financial statements analysys and interpretation skills (liquidity, solvency, debt-equity, etc.),Willing to travel in South Africa and rest of AfricaMicros/GAAP POS knowledge and experience
