Candidate Requirements:

  • Travel and Tourism related qualification
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in the travel industry
  • Previous TourPlan NX experience is highly advantageous
  • Should have excellent understanding of rates, mark up and commission structures
  • Good knowledge of Southern and East African regions
  • Must be computer literate (MS Office Applications)
  • Should be accurate, detail orientated, creative and pro-active
  • Must have the ability to multi-task with excellent time management skills and should be able to work well under pressure
  • Must have effective communication skills (written and verbal)
Key Outputs:
  • Ensuring that Tourplan content is up to date and accurate at all times
  • Accurate interpretation of contracts which includes rates, offers, supplier details, commissions, trading terms and conditions into the system
  • Quality control of all content loaded in the system by checking the data before consultants use the product loaded in the system
  • In-house customer service and support
  • Efficiently assisting sales and reservations teams with rates and any Tourplan related queries
