Qualifications:

Duties:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the environmental sector, both in RSA and across the borders
  • Assist unit managers and key account managers with heightening market awareness of the company to grow existing clients
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for current and future markets
  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies and plans
  • Support development of company website and social media
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients in collaboration with unit managers and key account managers in line with company strategy
  • Along with the CEO, negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for all parties
  • Promote the company to prospective employees by heightening awareness of the company profile to attract talent, through effective digital media marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with unit managers, geographic offices and key account managers to ensure the correct expertise is applied to meet client requirements
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities and performance, with recommendations for improvement
  • Attend industry events, conferences and networking opportunities to promote the company
  • Provide input and support for strategic planning and business development initiatives
