Accounts Receivable Controller

This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate debtor management, strong financial reporting, and efficient credit control across the global network.You will oversee Accounts Receivable processes, support and guide the AR team, maintain key records and reconciliations, and play a leading role in collection performance and cashflow accuracy.This role is based in Kempton Park, Johannesburg East.Key Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable function, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collectionsMonitor and maintain debtor ageing, ensuring 90+ days remain below set targetsConduct credit checks and negotiate with clients on overdue accountsPrepare cash forecasts, revenue reports, sales statistics and accounts receivable analysisReconcile debtor, revenue, intercompany and allocated bank accountsMaintain fixed asset registers and support CAPEX processesCalculate bad debt provisions and support audit processesEnsure correct accounting principles are consistently followedSupport, guide and train Accounts Receivable team membersJob Experience and Skills Required:Matric + Finance-related qualification (Diploma / Degree advantageous)Proven experience in Accounts Receivable / Credit ControlStrong understanding of reconciliations, reporting and revenue processesExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to manage deadlines and deliver under pressureProficient in financial systems (e.g., Pastel, ERP environments)Apply now For more exciting Finance vacancies, please visit:
